Daddy not been helping me with baby stuffs. Relatives had given me few bags of baby clothes. I need to go through them and pick out those better ones to wash and keep at a side. The baby cot also need to wipe and the mattress to put in place. And also I have to pack my bag aside to bring to hospital.

Hrmphz!!

Don't know why, been feeling very tired and weak. The feeling is like gastric but in past, my gastric attacks will be more worse than how I feel now. Anyway, I went to see my gynae to make sure baby is fine. He scanned and said baby is alright. Very active also, weight should be about 2kg. I went with mummy today, so that why no records of daddy's weight. As for my weight, I have no idea why I lost instead of gain. Maybe is due to my gastric now. Gynae said I may be having gastric flu, tell me to just rest at home for 2 days. If by wednesday still don't get well, I should go and see Dr Goh (the GP I often see at Eunos).

I had been feeling sick since monday. I was down with sore throat since last friday. As usual, I know my sore throat will eventually lead to a cough or flu or both together, and as expected. the flu came on monday and cough on wednesday. Cannot stand baby always having "earthquake" whenever I coughed, I decided to see doctor again and was given 2 days mc. The 2 days was not wasted at all. I spent the whole of afternoon sleeping and no matter how much I slept, I will still be very tired and sleep and sleep.

Now, today is friday. Back at work, feeling a lot better and refreshed too. Gladful that today is the start of another weekend and that means I can sleep as long as I want.

Doctor said baby is slightly a bit underweight now. Although he didn't said how heavy baby is, but from other measurements, he adviced me to drink more milk and eat more. I feel I am eating a lot already, but maybe most I ate were not proper meal. As for milk, he said by right, I should drink 1L for 2 days, but I am drinking like 1L for 5 or 6 days. Before pregnancy, I can drink milk, but I find nowadays I drink milk, I will get this after-taste which makes me feel sick. However, I rather drink fresh milk than those powdered milk. For the baby sake, I will try to keep drinking more then. Daddy also keep telling me to drink after we get home last night.

Baby is turn head down already. Most probably he will remain in this position till he is ready for delivery. The pain at my sides that I got, doctor said it is Baxton Hicks, which is common in pregnancy. For me, it occurs more often on my right tummy. If it gets too often and painful, doctor will then prescribe me some pills to relax it. As for now, I just have to endure with it.

Happy 31st week to my dear baby! Yesterday, daddy and mummy saw your face and had your 1st photo and video clips of you in my tummy. Yes, like my friend describe, it is a nice feeling to "see" you so real. I had uploaded it here for daddy and mummy friends to see.



Who do you think our baby looks after? Daddy keep saying baby got my mouth and nose, but most people who saw the scan photos said otherwise. They said baby got daddy's mouth, nose and chin, definitely more like daddy's.

Tonight is your 31st week checkup. Let's see how much weight we both put on since week 28. Before I forget, I better send a sms to your daddy in case he forget about your appointment.

Yeah! Just book an appointment for the NUH 3D/4D scan for baby tomorrow afternoon.

However, the staff told me, if baby turns down already then won't be able to take the scan. And most probably baby should be turn down by week 31. If baby's head is turn down, then they will not scan for me and won't be charge then.

Although the staff said their appointment are pretty full and may have to wait for a while. But I guess a while wait is worth it then.

I can get half a day rest from work as well.

I told baby's daddy about the 3D/4D scan that my friend did at NUH. She described the baby resembling her hubby and everything, and now my baby's daddy is tempted to go for the 3D/4D scan.

I was tempted all the while, but since I cannot decide to save this $100 plus or to go for the scan, I let baby's daddy to decide. And for 2 weeks, he never said anything, so that means he is not keen to go and I tell myself, wait till baby arrives then we will know who he resemble more.

Hopefully I can still dig out my email that contains the NUH number my friend sent me previously and that coming to week 31, I still can go for the scan.
