Daddy, Mummy and Alvon hereby wishing you, "Happy New Year"

Alvon is 12 days old today. His ah-ma had bought an ankle bracelet for him and I had just put it on his right leg today.

Being the 12th day of my confinement, I finally can wash my hair. Although had to use rice vinegar mixed with hot water, I am still very happy. In fact, I washed with shampoo 2 times.

My stitch is a lot better now. For the first few days, I couldn't even sit properly. Now no more pain but the stitch had not disappeared yet, thus will still have a bit discomfort.

Now I am motivating myself to have more milk supply. It is really tiring to wake up in middle of night just to express milk. I bought a nipple shield to help in allowing alvon to latch on easier so he can drink directly. It seems to work. If it really works, then I might consider to buy some more. Each cost around $7.

Little Prince arrives!!

Alvon Tay Wei Le is born on 20th December 2008. Both mummy and little prince are doing fine at home now. Here's a picture of me.



Who do I look like? :)

Don't worry. Our weight were measured before we had our lunch, that why you see a decrease in my weight. But does a lunch makes a difference of 1kg?

Doctor did the normal scan, saying baby is doing fine. His head is downwards, with his body slightly to my left tummy and his legs around top of my tummy. That's explains why I will feel his movement more near top of my belly-button.

I took hospitalise leave from gynae and so next week I will still be at home. Daddy will be starting his course next monday. Lucky my brother finished his exams and thus, I will ask him to accompany me mostly at home.

See our weight at the side. Another gain, but I feel fortunate already that I don't think the weight increase shows in me physically.

Doctor said baby position and etc are fine. Although baby not engaged yet, but baby's head is still down, so it is a good sign that it can be a normal delivery. When I asked if baby will likely to come out earlier than expected, doctor replied not likely, mainly because baby's size not big.

The clinic is having this new scan machine on trial. This new machine can scan 3D as well. As doctor was not familiar with the usage, there was this lady who came to assist. They were trying out the 3D and we saw our baby's face again. Dear commented that baby got my mouth again, pouting inside.

Now, my checkup is weekly. My next appointment will be next friday.

Oh! Want to blog something about baby's daddy silly action. He keep using his tummy and hit against my tummy, and makes this "bong bong" sound. Like two balls hitting like that. He makes me laugh so much with this silly action and sound.

I had finally washed most of baby's clothes given from relatives. I had picked out those that are too yellowish. The quantity looks enough for baby to wear, but some do look a bit big for new born baby.

Now I have to concentrate on packing my bag. It seems like I have to pack a few things but I always cannot get them pack in. Hard for me to explain here. Anyway, I give myself till this week to at least get the essential things packed in my bag.

Tomorrow I am going for another checkup. I will update more then.
