Got a bite from my baobei last night. We don't know why but he seems to like to bite ppl at their shoulder. Last night, while playing and carrying him, he bite my arm with my clothes. Can see that he bite hard, biting plus pulling backward towards himself, with bit of my arm, and thus, got a small "hole" that bled a little after scolding him.

Just a short update.

Tangkak trip went well enough. We managed to get alvon to sleep most of the travelling, so he was not that cranky. Dinner as usual, bit disappointed, not with the food but with the way they create the atmosphere and arrangement.

Alvon will always have fun "bu-ing" out water while we feed him by spoon. He knows it is fun and often will do so to amuse us or himself. After doing so, sometimes I feel he proudly laugh at himself by giving a cheeky mi mi eyes smile.

We are moving to handshake and goodbye kiss (the type where he will bring his open palm to his mouth, kiss and blow). He seems to understand handshake now coz most of the time he will bring his right hand to my outstretched left hand and I will shake it for him. Goodbye kiss still in process. He seems to understand to put his palm to his mouth but don't know how to do the muackz sound yet and I am the one who always blow it for him.

Finally we fenced off the console table area and alvon can now safely play on the playmat surrounded by the fence and our sofa. However, my helper told me yesterday, while she went to get alvon's milk leaving him there alone to play, she found he climbed on to the sofa with the help of the cushion on the floor when she went back to him.

I don't like travelling, especially on a period like now. Anyway, sitting in car travelling now gives me a headache most of the time. And now I have to endure sitting in a two hour journey.

In addition, this is the first time, alvon is going on a holiday. Yes a holiday, although it is just to his grandfather's hometown in malaysia. Of course, the preparation is tedious. Worse than going to his birthday chalet, where we know can always go back for his stuffs.

Took a day leave today to rest and pack everything. From my big cheeky boy to my small cute boy, including my stuffs, I guess I will be packing and packing.

And guess what, we will be leaving tomorrow early morning at 5am, as said by his daddy. Can't anyone understand and think sensibly to at least let alvon wake up then start the journey drive, then having a child sitting in car seat, making noise all the way due to lack of sleep. What the use of avoiding the jam when there will definitely be a jam? I have a better idea, why not we avoid the jam by not going at all?

Yesterday, while watching tv, we saw the actor having a praying scene. So I looked at alvon and said "See baby, bai bai. How do you bai bai?" Initially I don't expect him to have any reaction, but he started putting his two palms together and bai bai. We were so surprised to see this and throughout the show, we kept asking him to bai bai.

Guess it must be because we have been going to temple often over the past month and will keep guiding him to put his palms and bai bai, and that why he knows it now. Probably for a while.

We are still trying to get him to drink from straw. And the training had been going like for two weeks. The best is that he will blow air and play bubbles with the water in his cup.

Detailed scan cleared with no problem. Baby confirmed is a boy. The nurse even show us a 3D imagine when I asked about it. Dear said looks like Alvon though I can't see much. Wait till later around 30th week, we will go for a 4D scan where we can have a clearer image when baby bigger and videa capture of some of baby's movement.

At first, thought of asking Alvon to come in too to look at his brother. But I think he still too small to understand :)

Baby weighs 395g now.

I am going for my Week 21 detailed scan tomorrow at Eash Shore Hospital. And we will get a confirmation of the gender of our 2nd baby. Last gynae visit was not really confirmed although 80% likely sure. In addition, this detailed scan will tell us if baby is growing healthy or not.

I just pray our baby is healthy and growing well inside.

Wait for more updates tomorrow then. And that makes me wonder when I want to publish those previous drafted copies of our 2nd baby :)

Yesterday, while I was in my room preparing to bath after reaching home from work, I heard alvon making a strange sound in the living room. Usually now, he knows how to mah mah mah, and what I heard yesterday sound was like ah?? or ya-ah?? or eh?? Ha ha I also don't know, but to me, it sound like a parrot. Those slightly loud and bit chi er sound. I keep correctly him and told him not to make that sound but ha ha you can guess, he also don't understand me :) So the whole night he was practically shouting away like a parrot.

Alvon likes to put his fingers in his mouth nowadays. We will always take his hands away if he put them in again. This process will keep repeating and repeating till at times I so fed up and beat the back of his hands and scolded him fiercely. Once, his hands went slightly red from all my beating, making me feel so heart-pain.

Whenever my helper changes diaper for alvon, especially when he poo poo, alvon will tends to use his hands and touch his buttock. Sometimes his hands will get his poo poo too :) So I told my helper whenever he washing his buttock for change, wash his hands with soap too. Imagine his hands with poo poo and put in his mouth.

Once, daddy was sitting between me and Alvon, and while I was making alvon to smile with his favourite peek-a-boo, daddy keep turning left and right and said this to alvon "You got exactly your mommy's eyes." Yipee ha ha

I realised Alvon's having a habit of biting his bao bao whenever he can catch hold of it. Often the bao bao top or bottom will be wet with his saliva. For some time, I couldn't figure who taught him this or how he could have learn it. Finally a day, I found out from daddy that himself has this habit when he was small. He will bite his bao bao just like what alvon is doing now. Haiz. I guess this habit for alvon is hard to change since it's from his daddy's gene.
